Regional Forestry Conference in Tanzania

Mr Hans Lemm of KVTC will be presenting at the Regional Conference on Promoting Investment in Plantation Forestry in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 15th and 16th of October 2016

The Tanzanian plantation forestry conference aims at promoting enabling environment and increasing investments for plantation forestry. The conference will introduce development of the plantation forestry sector, its potential and multi-stakeholder approaches in the countries. The four themes of the forestry conference will be:

1. Unlocking the potential of sustainable plantation forestry;
2. Understanding plantation forestry value chains;
3. Overview of East African Forestry;
4. Partnerships for successful investment; and
5. The realities of plantation forestry investment in East Africa.
